He is Risen!

Sandalwood, also know as aloes in the Bible, has been used for nearly 4,000 years, making it one of the oldest incenses with a timeless presence. Aloes lends its timeless essence to moments of profound significance in biblical history. From its presence in the anointing oils used in consecration to its role in the crafting of sacred artifacts like the Ark of the Covenant, sandalwood emerges as a historically and spiritually prominent oil.

Sandalwood

Journey back in the gospels, and you'll find references surrounding the burial of Jesus Christ, as Joseph of Arimathea tenderly anointed the body of Jesus with a blend of myrrh and aloes. Psalms 45:8 shows us that the garments of the Messiah are fragrant with myrrh, cassia, and aloes, which is sandalwood.

John 19:38-42 "Nicodemus, who earlier had come to Jesus at night, went with Joseph. He brought about seventy-five pounds of myrrh and aloes. These two men took Jesus' body and wrapped it with the spices in pieces of linen cloth, which is how they bury the dead."

PRODUCT CARE & SAFETY

Step 1 | Create a Safe Environment

Find a flat, heat-safe surface to burn your candle that is away from children and pets. Make sure the candle will be attended while burning. Remember to never touch the candle jar while burning as the jar will be very hot.

Step 2 | Trim the Wick

Before igniting your candle, trim the wick to a quarter of an inch in length. This simple act not only prevents soot but also prolongs the life of your candle.

Step 3 | Achieve Even Burning

To ensure your candle burns evenly, allow the wax to melt and form a full pool reaching the candle's edges with each lighting. This practice prevents the formation of tunnels or excess wax buildup as your candle burns.

Step 4 | The Perfect Finish

When it's time to extinguish your candle, opt for either the candle's lid or a candle snuffer. This gentle approach minimizes smoke and eliminates any splattering while keeping dust out of your candle in between lightings. Store in a safe place away from children and pets.
